Frequently Asked Questions
When should I RSVP by?
Please let us know by June 1st if you will be in attendance. Please RSVP individually, including for children (see below).
What is the dress code for the wedding (Saturday 23rd)?
The dress code is semi-formal and we want our guests to be comfortable in the warm weather. Formal jackets or ties are not expected, but you are welcomed to wear these if you wish. Most of the day will be spent outside and so it may get cooler towards the evening, just as we start to move inside for some dancing. Some of the day will be spent on stones or uneven ground so please bear this in mind when it comes to deciding on footwear. If considering heels we would recommend block heels or wedges.
What is the dress code for the pool party (Sunday 24th)?
This will be very relaxed and there is no dress code, but please feel free to bring swimwear if you would like to have a swim. There will be facilities to change.
What will the weather be like?
The average temperature in late August is 24°C, with highs of 31°C and lows of 18°C.
Is there parking available at the venue?
There is plenty of parking available and you're welcome to leave cars at the venue overnight.
Are children invited to the wedding?
Our wedding and the pool party will be child-friendly. Please fill out an RSVP form for each child, including dietary requirements. The kitchen are happy to serve child-friendly food as an alternative to the offerings on the main menu for the wedding, which will be released shortly. Please inform us of any dietary preferences in either the RSVP or when selecting meals closer to the date (see below). At the pool party there will be a BBQ which will have child-friendly food offerings.
Can I bring a +1?
Sadly due to capacity we are not allowing additional guests to those formally invited.
How do we select food options for the wedding?
We are in the process of finalising the menu with the venue and will notify you when this becomes available. We will then ask you inform us of your selection through the website by at least 4 weeks before the 23.08.25.
Will there be vegan/vegetarian/gluten-free options for guests with dietary restrictions?
Absolutely! We want all of our guests to enjoy the culinary experience at our wedding. Please let us know any dietary restrictions or preferences when you RSVP and we will ensure there are suitable options available for you.
Can we take photos during the ceremony and reception?
Whilst we encourage you to capture and cherish precious moments throughout the day and share these with us, we kindly ask that guests do not take photographs during the ceremony.
Is there a registry or a preferred method for gifts?
Having you there to celebrate with us is the best gift we could ask for, and we appreciate all the effort and money spent to travel to France to join us on our special day. There is no obligation to get us a gift, however if you'd like to, a small contribution towards our future travel plans later in the year would be appreciated.
